Construction Management - Summer Internship

Responsibilities

This Intern would work directly with our landscaping team to help create a process and form for RFP's - request for proposals. 

Areas of Study:

  • Project Management
  • Construction Management
  • Business Administration

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • All aspects of the facilities maintenance industry and how they support the overall success of healthcare facilities.
  • How Operations, IT, Sales, Marketing, and Human Resources partner and interconnect in order to move the business forward.
  • Valuable project management and process improvement skills.
  • How to develop and deliver meaningful presentations, including managing interactions with senior leadership.
  • Key time management skills, including goal setting and prioritization.

You will be working with a senior leader within our organization as a mentor. Through this relationship, you will learn how to leverage a mentoring relationship inside a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications

WHAT WE REQUIRE:

  • Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Must have completed Sophomore year of college
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A genuine interest in health-care and facilities management
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Availability for summer work beginning in mid-May 2024 and continuing through mid-August 2024
  • Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
  • Minimum GPA Required: 3.0
