$4,072 – $5,479 Monthly

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is currently seeking a Transportation Planning Technician 2 to serve as a part-time, non-permanent Cultural Resources Specialist Historian Assistant in Tumwater, WA. This position is part of the Policy Branch which supports multimodal project delivery by conducting quality assurance duties under the Federal Highway Administration and WSDOT Stewardship and Oversight Agreement and in accordance with WSDOT’s environmental policies and procedures. The Cultural Resources Specialist Historian Assistant also works jointly with the Bridge office, which preserves, inspects, and rates the condition of Washington state bridges. The top candidate will support the Cultural Resources Program’s historic bridge inventory and records management to support compliance with federal and state requirements and tribal commitments regarding the appropriate consideration and treatment of historic bridges.
