Entry-Level Bridge / Structural Engineer

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare plans, specifications, and estimates for assigned bridge engineering tasks
  • Assist in the preparation of design reports
  • Perform geometric design and other design tasks for bridge projects
  • Write reports and analyze load ratings of bridges and culverts to assess bridge infrastructure

The successful candidate will have:

  • A bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within nine months of hire date

The ideal candidate will have experience in any of the following:

  • EIT strongly preferred
  • Designing/Drafting software (MicroStation preferred)
  • Transportation projects experience (specifically bridgework) and/or relevant coursework
  • MS Office Suite software
  • Effectively communicating both verbally and written with clients and colleagues
  • Collaborating in a team environment
  • Prioritizing and balancing multiple commitments
  • Bridge design tasks
