This job is a support role for our sales staff, with some customer facing responsibilities. This is an entry level position, which will provide a good base of knowledge and experience for future opportunities.
- Job responsibilities are to provide support for outside and inside sales activities such as:
- Produce job quotes
- Conduct product research
- Build submittal packages
- Process customer orders
- Requirements:
- A mindset that prioritizes customer service
- Some familiarity with the construction industry and/or building supply industry
- The ability to handle criticism without taking things personally (our customers’ communication style can be a bit rougher than other industries)
- The ability to learn and retain new information about the products we sell
- Bachelors Degree; this requirement can be substituted for relevant work experience
- Preferred:
- Experience in the construction and/or distribution industry
- Experience working with Quickbooks
- Experience in sales
- Compensation:
- Salary: $48k - $54k per year
- Discretionary year-end bonus/profit share
