Analytical Chemist - HPLC

Job Description

 

  • Provides support to run analytical methods necessary for the characterization and release of the drug substance and drug product
  • Conducts various experiments, primarily HPLC and GC, but may include water content, dissolution testing, and residual solvents
  • Performs set up and analyzing stability samples of development and clinical supplies
  • Documentation and reporting of results

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry
  • Experience conducting HPLC, GC, and dissolution experiments
  • Industry experience with HPLC is required
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and training
  • At least 1 year of  relevant laboratory experience
  • Ability to work with beta-lactams including cephalosporins and penicillins
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

 

Additional information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, first shift 8AM-5PM. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Kalamazoo, MI are encouraged to apply.
