Special Education Teacher

Join Our Team as an Exceptional Children (EC) Teacher!

Pay Rate: $43 - $45 per hour

Amergis Educational Staffing is excited to welcome four dedicated EC Teachers (2 Adapted & 2 Inclusion/OCS) for a 30-week, full-time contract at a school in Marion, NC. If you’re passionate about making a difference in students’ lives, we want to hear from you!

Position: EC Teacher (2 Adapted & 2 Resource)
Location: Marion, NC
Pay Rate (Local): $43 - $45 per hour (based on experience)

Total Travel Package: $2,150.00/week
Must reside over 50 miles away to qualify for travel package

• Taxable Wages: $988.00/week
• Weekly Housing Allowance: $749.00/week
• Weekly Meals & Incidentals Allowance: $413.00/week

Schedule:

• 38 hours per week
• 7:30am – 3:30pm (Monday – Friday)

Duration:

• 30 Weeks (School Year)

Requirements:

• Must be licensed in North Carolina (open to pending licenses)
• Strong background as an EC/SPED Teacher, specifically in Self-Contained or Resource classrooms
• Experience in both Elementary and High School settings
• Kind, passionate, and flexible team player
• Customer service oriented, with a passion for helping others
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Will have an assistant
