Climate Hope Ambassador Paid Internship

This is a part-time opportunity devoted to the success of a UCC advocacy program called Climate Hope Affiliates. The purpose of the Climate Hope Affiliates program is to empower people of faith and conscience to address the interconnected crises of climate change and societal injustice. This is done through local affiliates that develop ongoing relationships with members of congress, the local media, and leaders in the broader community. To launch an affiliate, a local host is needed who will gather 5-10 people to form a team that will invite people to a launch workshop. The Climate Hope Ambassador will have four primary tasks: (1) to identify and contact potential local hosts in communities across the country; (2) to give informational presentations via Zoom or in-person on the Climate Hope Affiliates program, (3) to assist Climate Hope Affiliate Leadership Team Members with meetings, workshops, trainings, and webinars, and (4) to assist staff in engaging and preparing churches for their participation in Climate Hope Sunday.  Use the link to view the full position description and to apply: https://www.appone.com/MainInfoReq.asp?R_ID=6711315.  Application Close:  April 30, 2025.
