Protective Services Investigator- Ursuline Support Services - Pittsburgh

The Protective Services Investigator is responsible for investigating suspected cases of abuse against older adults as defined by The Older Adults Protective Services Act that occur within the contracted service area.

Responsibilities include receiving, screening, referring, and maintaining records of reports of elder abuse. Conducting investigations of neglect, abuse, abandonment, and exploitation. Completing assessments and developing care plans for seniors at risk. Referring cases for court ordered interventions and guardianship as appropriate. Position requires rotation of a periodic 24 hour on-call. Travel is required throughout the service area. The position requires visits to various settings in the community which include private residences.
