Summer Social Media Internship with WWOOF

WWOOF-USA Summer Social Media Internship
 

Location: Remote (USA-based)
Duration: Summer 2025 (flexible start/end dates, 10 week commitment for 10 hours/per week)
Compensation: $1,500 total ($150/week), with school credit available if applicable

Are you passionate about sustainable living, storytelling, and digital creativity? 

Join the WWOOF-USA team as a Social Media Intern this summer and help inspire people around the world to get involved in organic farming and have an impactful WWOOF experience!

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with content creation for WWOOF-USA’s Instagram, Meta, TikTok and YouTube accounts
• Source and curate engaging photos, videos, and stories from WWOOFers and host farms
• Draft captions and schedule posts that reflect our mission and values
• Monitor comments, messages, and tags to help build community and engagement
• Support social media campaigns (e.g. photo contests, seasonal themes)
• Contribute ideas to boost reach and engagement with Gen Z & Millennial audiences
• Optional: Create content from your own personal WWOOF experience (recent or upcoming!)
• Optional: Interview WWOOFers or hosts for features and takeovers

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for WWOOFing, sustainability, organic farming, eco-travel, and cultural exchange
• Experience using Instagram, Meta, TikTok, YouTube and other platforms creatively
• Strong writing skills
• An eye for visual and authentic storytelling
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
• Bonus: Experience with Canva, video editing, or social media analytics
• Bonus: Past WWOOFing experience
