The Connecticut State Police internship program welcomes college students to apply and learn more about the opportunities available.

The Connecticut State Police provides various support services to local, state, and federal agencies including but not limited to:

  • K-9 Search and Rescue
  • Crime Scene Investigation
  • Motor Vehicle Accident Reconstruction
  • Cyber Crime
  • Narcotics
  • Organized Crime Investigations
  • Criminal Intelligence Unit
  • Bomb Squad
  • Dive Team
  • Aviation
  • Tactical Team

During your internship, you will be exposed to several different units.

Apply your classroom knowledge while working with the State’s Premier Law Enforcement Agency!

Internship Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.8 GPA
  • Be at least an undergraduate junior as of the semester to which you are applying to the internship program
  • Minimum 24 college credits earned

  • Complete the internship application in it's entirety (MUST BE TYPED)
  • Email your completed internship application, along with the requested documents, to csp.internship@ct.gov. The email subject line must be "Your Last Name-Internship".
