Our Company

Nick Tsapatsaris & Associates was founded in Ridgewood, New Jersey in 1990. The firm is licensed in Architecture, Structural, and Civil Engineering, and offers wide array of Real Estate Development and Construction Management services to our clients. With a strong collaborative team of in-house architects, engineers and construction managers, the firm has been recognized with a number of awards.

The diversity of the firm enables us to maintain multiple aspects of a project, from inception to completion. Our in-house architects, engineers and real estate development teams provide a broad range of expertise for our clients. From the inception of a project our firm can provide the physical due diligence of a building or tenant space to best advise the clients as to the scope of work for construction and the life cycle cost of the selected properties.

The collaboration between the architecture, engineering, construction, and interior design teams allows our firm to minimize a project timeline and submission requirements. Furthermore, the internal coordination of our teams provides our clients with the expertise to maximize a tenant area or building.

Our Environment

Our office resides within a historic building affectionately known as “The Play House.” We are located within the theater’s fly loft above the stage at the rear of the building and where scenery set designs and props were stored. Our office environment mirrors the versatile and entrepreneurial projects we are involved in. We hold brainstorming sessions where everyone gets an opportunity to catch up and where many great ideas are often born. Most importantly, we have a strong belief that a work environment can be productive, challenging but also fun.
